This study seeks to analyze the character traits in this epic poem. The significance of the character of the story is enough to say that it would not had happened anything if there hadn’t been any character in the narrative. The results of the study indicated that in eastern Iran, about 95 characters have been involved. Of which, 14 are dynamic characters and the rest are static. The frequency of each type of character are as follows: 81, 36, 8, 13, and 0. This shows that besides the static nature of most characters, Ibn Hussam described the exact and complete saga of his characters and discouraged from choosing stereotypical characters.
