The description of the relations of society and the literary work and the representation of the social world in the literary text is the most central subject of the sociological critique of literature. Among these, the sociological studies of the novel as one of the sociological tendencies of literature are of great importance; Because among literary forms, the novel is more influenced by different cultural, political, economic and social situations than any other type of literature, and it can reflect the important events of society better than other types of literature. The present study has tried to consider the sociological reading of the four novels Baftehaye Ranj, Shohare Ahookhanoom, Shadkamane Darreye Qarahsu and Dr. Baktash as significant Afghan works, based on the sociological content theory of the novel by Henri Zalamansky. To present and analyze the concept of class consciousness in these four works based on a systematic and theological method. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the data are analyzed using content analysis method. The result of classifying the contents of Afghan novels shows that class consciousness is one of the recurring contents of the four novels. The process of class consciousness in these novels is first formed in the lower classes and the workers (proletariat); thus, it begins with the concept of alienation and then objectification, and after understanding class consciousness, it eventually leads to social mobilization.
