Personality of Characters in the Stories of the Seh Tar by Jalal Al Ahmad

Abstract

The power of peoples' identification with the protagonists of stories is so high. The heroes of the story are the same people of society and the audience or readers in reading the work sees themselves as the hero; hence, the analysis of the characters and heroes of the stories is necessary. One of the ways to better understand the heroes of the story is the character's identity. The author introduces the stories' characters using different names. Being familiar with the actor's characters in the work, in turn, helps us to identify the inner layers of a literary work; henceforth knowing the names and charactes of a story is the basic procedure in the analysis and critique of a story. Although fiction writing in Iran and Persian literature has not a long history, writers in this field have created different works recently. Jalal al-Ahmad is one of these writers. Since Jalal is one of the famous Iranian writers and has certain ideologies, recognizing the identity of his stories' characters is very important in his story analysis. In this article, it has been tried to address the fiction characters in the Seh Tar by Jalal al-Ahmad.
