Abstract

Anagram is one of the most important models of personality recognition in modern psychology that can be classified from different perspectives. The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of the female characters of this street novel based on nine anagram personality type. In this novel, there are eight female characters. Using the different ways of characterization, the author has paved the way for the character of the characters and has shown that the characters differ in terms of basic values, worldviews, personal relationships, and relationships with the environment. The confrontation with the people of society is the confrontation between modernism and traditionalism. Shohreh's goal is to liberate women from self -made laws and inform their rights. The results of the study show that female characters with modern insights have the positive characteristics of anagram personality type, and traditional characters have the negative characteristics of the type. The main character, Shohreh, is a symbol of Mary, the author of the book. The efforts to stand up to patriarchy reflect the author's society, and she wants to change this society for the benefit of women.
