Abstract

Excitement is caused by biological, learned and cognitive processes. Therefore, stress is one of the most important indicators affecting human behavior and performance in the field of motivation and excitement, which is a set of neurological and physiological reactions with the ultimate goal of adaptation, which, depending on the type of stress and different evaluation, human behavior becomes tendentious or avoidant. Motivation theorists want to know what motivates behavior. In general, stress is the result of our need for physical, mental and emotional adaptation to a change. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyze the impact of stress on the tendency-avoidance behaviors of the main character of the story of the school principal by Jalal Al-Ahmed. The research method is descriptive-analytical and library style. The results of the research show that in the story of the school principal, as the stressful stimuli progress from a challenge to a threat, the behaviors become avoidable and lead to escape from the situation. Even with a stubborn personality, the intensity of threatening stress has exceeded the limit and has led to a break in motivation and running away.
