Social semiotics is a theory based on communication actions, during those approaches, the relations of both sides of communication as users of society are analyzed, and with this view, the result of our every action and reaction refers to a subject that can be understood by understanding those points, and through that, the real space. The effect and behind the curtain of communication is revealed. The scope of this research is the novel Passing the Palace by Najib Mahfouz. This essay is written with a descriptive-analytical method and with the aim of explaining the current communication patterns between the characters of the work as social users, and what kind of communication is instilled in the actors and what is their reaction to it. In response to these questions, which approach does the communication patterns of the main character (the hero) as the main actor in this work follow with the family? Which approach is the main character's communication method with the community based on? Family members of Seyyed Ahmed (first character) What models are used against his relational model? The request is that; The main character presents two types of behavior, his discourse and style is talent and power, but with the family, he has a balanced behavior with the society and has an identity crisis.
