Abstract

One of the tendencies of contemporary literary criticism is sociological criticism. In sociological criticism, attention is paid to the mutual relations between literature and society. In this type of criticism, the researcher examines the literary text according to his own approach and uncovers the link between the work and the society and how it is related. Since the novel Darra Jazamian by Mithaq Amirfajr has a close relationship with the most important social events and contemporary history, i.e. the victory of the Islamic revolution and the imposed war, due to its realistic and social aspects; In this research, we propose to analyze the novel (George Lukács and Lucien Goldman's theory) in terms of content by using the descriptive-analytical library study method and using the sociological theory. Discussing the structures that created the work and finding the two-way relationship between the totality of the literary work and the totality of the social situation of the period in which the work was developed is the main goal of this research. Based on this research, the discovery and correspondence between characterization and linguistic structure and its adaptation to the social structure of the Leper Valley novel leads to the connection between social and literary structure. Finally, by analyzing and describing the elements used in this article, we can be more sure that dealing with historical events, realism and truth-likeness, contrast between tradition and modernity, reflection of popular culture, etc. is the dominant content of this work.
