Journal Article 2022 12 15 Based on Alfred Adler's psychoanalytic theory, this article analyzes the character of a woman named Volga, the main character in the novel "From the devil learned and Burned" by Farkhondeh Aghaei. The main question of the research is that Volga's neurotic behavior in this novel is influenced by what complexes and what was the main reason for the formation of this complex in him? The results of the research show that the lack of mental health of Volga's mother's character and her violent behavior towards Volga caused Volga to suffer from personality defects and inferiority complex due to neglect in her education. The receiver type is prominent in her personality as she expects others to fulfill her needs instead of trying. By overcompensating, Volga tries to overcome the inferiority complex, as she shows her financial situation is better than it actually is, and therefore, by spending excessively, she falls into inappropriate financial conditions and is forced to borrow from others. In Volga's character, a suspicious of others and a mistrust of society has developed. Instead of treating others honestly and showing her heartache with them empathetically, she is distrustful and suspicious of them, as she does not even pay attention to the advice of her friends and psychoanalysts. She does not ask for advice or help from others; She has an unhealthy lifestyle and blames her failures on others and society. All these signs confirm her lack of mental health. این مقاله بر مبنای نظریه‌ی روانکاوانه‌ی آلفرد آدلر به تحلیل شخصیت زنی به نام ولگا، در رمان از شیطان آموخت و سوزاند نوشته‌ی فرخنده آقایی پرداخته است. پرسش اصلی تحقیق این است که رفتارهای روان رنجورانه شخصیت ولگا در این رمان تحت تأثیر چه عواملی است و علت اصلی شکل گیری عقده‌های روانی در او چه بوده است؟ نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که عدم سلامت روانی مادر ولگا و رفتار خشونت آمیزش با او، سبب شده ولگا به نقص شخصیتی ناشی از غفلت و در نتیجه به عقده‌ی حقارت مبتلا گردد که متعاقباً بروز عقده‌ی برتری طلبی و عدم رشد علاقه‌ی‌ اجتماعی را در پی داشته است. تیپ گیرنده در شخصیت او برجسته است چنانکه به جای تلاش، انتظار دارد دیگران نیازهای او را برآورند. ولگا با اقدام به جبران افراطی می‌کوشد بر عقده‌ی حقارت غلبه کند؛ چنانکه وضعیت مالی خود را بهتر از آنچه واقعیت دارد نشان می دهد، بنابراین با افراط در خرج کردن به شرایط نامناسب مالی دچار و مجبور می شود از دیگران قرض گیرد. او سبک زندگی ناسالمی دارد، از کسی مشورت و کمک نمی‌خواهد، شکست‌های خود را به گردن جامعه می‌اندازد، به دیگران بدگمان است و به جای ابراز صداقت، به توصیه‌های دوستان و روانکاوان خود بی‌اعتناست که این نشانه‌ها همگی گویای عدم سلامت روانی اوست. https://pl.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_9774_e4f8cda9f017a9ff5536a7ce991cf957.pdf
