This novel shows the society and its problems. M. mo'adabpoor shows many problems of the current era in a form of a narration or story. "Addiction" as an important societal phenomenon or problem which is effective in shaping many of the bitter realities of society is emerged in many novels that. However, less attention has been paid to this matter in these works scientifically and the sociology of literature has a significant role to review and study the realities of a society in the imaginative and artistic world of literary works by discovering the relations and links between society and literature. In this research, the reflection of this ominous phenomenon in Parichehr novel regarding a sociological approach of the literary work content will be studied by a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the research show that many of the factors that are considered as the reasons of the use of drugs and addiction as well as the complications that are mentioned as the consequences of this phenomenon by the experts are is visible in this novel. رمان <em>پریچهر </em>رمانی اجتماعی است که در آن نویسنده تحت تأثیر ساختار جامعه­ای که در آن زندگی می­کند، به خلق اثری می پردازد که در آن تصویر اجتماع را می­توان به نظاره نشست. م. مؤدب­پور در این رمان، بسیاری از مشکلات زندگی در عصر حاضر را در قالب داستان به تصویر می کشد. «اعتیاد» به عنوان یک پدیده و معضل مهم اجتماعی که در شکل­گیری بسیاری از واقعیت های تلخ جامعه مؤثر است، در بسیاری از رمان­ها حضور دارد. حال آنکه کمتر در این­گونه آثار به صورت علمی مورد توجه و کاوش قرار گرفته است و این مهم بر عهدۀ جامعه­شناسی ادبیات است که با کشف روابط و پیوندهای میان  جامعه و ادبیات، واقعیات موجود در جامعه را در جهان تخیلی و هنری آثار ادبی بازکاوی کند. در این جستار، بازتاب این پدیدۀ شوم در رمان <em>پریچهر</em> با رویکرد جامعه­شناسی محتوای اثر ادبی به شیوه توصیفی- تحلیلی بررسی می­شود و نتایج تحقیق بیانگر آن است که بسیاری از عواملی که کارشناسان به عنوان علل روی آوردن به مصرف مواد مخدر و اعتیاد مطرح می­کنند و همچنین عوارضی که به عنوان عواقب این امر از آن یاد می­کنند، در این رمان قابل مشاهده است. https://pl.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_2152_e86a8ed2f0ca82c243801a3f88399b3c.pdf
